Read the full FAQ →Inglewood is the submarket where the regulatory footnote is the whole deal. It is its own city, so LA City's RSO does not apply and neither does Measure ULA — on a sale above $5.4 million that second point is worth 4% of the gross price. But Inglewood has its own rent control ordinance, and its coverage line is a rolling fifteen-year exemption rather than a fixed 1978 date, which means a 2009 building is covered here when an equivalent building inside LA City would not be. Owners who assume 'not LA City, therefore not rent controlled' price their building wrong in both directions.
